Studying Nursing at The University of Manchester

As a registered nurse (adult, child or mental health field), you will have the opportunity to develop your Public Health practice and influence within a variety of settings (NMC 2015, RCN 2016). Studying Nursing at The University of Manchester would enable you to:

  • Study at a university ranked 4th in the world and 2nd in the UK for nursing (QS World University Rankings 2017).
  • Become eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) while also receiving a degree at the end of three years of study.
  • Complete a cirricululm which includes an ongoing focus on Public Health.
  • Gain experience of different clinical areas and Public Health practice through placements across Greater Manchester, as well as having the opporutnity to go on a placement in an alternative setting in the UK or abroad.
  • Take a course that has produced many of the country's leading nurse practitioners, researchers and policymakers.
