The Research Design Service North West (RDS NW)

The Research Design Service North West (RDS NW) is funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) as part of a network of regional Research Design Services in England.

The Research Design Services provides advice on research design to researchers in the North West who are developing proposals for national, peer-reviewed funding competitions for applied health or social care research.

This would include schemes such as the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit, Personal Awards Schemes and Programme Grants as well as opportunities from major funders such as the Medical Research Council and charitable organisations such as The Wellcome Foundation.

The aim of the service is to increase the number of successful applications for funding for applied people-focused health and social care research.
