Paul Lee

Paul is a Wythenshawe post war baby boomer who became a Writer, Advisor, and Professional Chartered Surveyor. He has long experience in Company & Contract Law, Building Pathology, Planning, Inspection & Enforcement, Health, Safety & Welfare. Paul has excellent credentials in the field of Research & Development, & became a Government acknowledged leader in R&D and Social Housing. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health. He prides himself on being a team player, willing to engage in robust, open, respectful debate. He has extensive Board, Trade Union, Political, Institute, Member and Chair experience within Public & Private Bodies. He brings strategic leadership & community insight to any debate. He is passionate about equal opportunity, inclusiveness and believes it is our duty to enable those without a voice to be heard. Paul has 41 years’ industry experience, 26 @ senior level. Paul has been a Patient, Health & Community Representative since 2008. He represents Wythenshawe Cornishway, & South Manchester as a Health & Community Representative. He actively works with NHS England, NAPP, and is honoured to be a MSc Clinical Science Programme Lay Representative for the Manchester Academy of Health Science Education (MAHSE). As a Community Representative Paul has been welcomed by the University of Manchester to speak at its many prestigious conferences. Paul believes only Manchester would ever have placed a voice from the street, next to a world speaker. Paul thinks organisations now understand the importance of listening to ordinary people; inclusiveness is being embraced globally, Manchester Conference attendees have understood how an inclusive approach to debate tied to evidence based judgement, equals quality outcomes.
