Professor Darren Shickle
Darren Shickle is Professor of Public Health at University of Leeds. He was previously Clinical Reader in Public Health at University of Sheffield and Harkness Fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He has also worked at the Department of Health and the United States Department of Health and Human Services. He is also an ethics expert for the European Commission. His main current research interest is ophthalmic public health, but also has on-going interests in public health ethics, genetics and sexual health.
