The International Festival of Public Health 2026

The International Festival of Public Health is hosted by the University of Manchester's Community Medicine and Public Health Group in the Division of Medical Education, School of Medical Sciences. This year, we are also pleased to partner with the European Public Health Association's Global Health section.

The purpose of the International Festival of Public Health is to provide an inclusive platform for the public, researchers, students and professionals working in the public health field to interact and share ideas for developing services, research and teaching.

We are delighted to announce that abstract submission is now open for the 14th International Festival of Public Health. This year's Festival will be held in person in Manchester on Tuesday 14th July 2026. The Festival will take place in the Schuster Building - Building 54 on the University's interactive map. Follow this link to the interactive map.

This year's Festival will have five main themes: 'Global Public Health', 'Commercial Determinants of Health', 'Research Inclusion', 'AI and Public Health' and 'Women's Health'. Abstract submission does not have to be confined to these subjects and there will be no weighting applied to these topics when abstracts are chosen. You can submit abstracts online at http://www.festivalofpublichealth.co.uk/abstractsubmission/.
