Dr Margaret Douglas

Dr Margaret Douglas is Co-Director of the Master of Public Health programme in Edinburgh University and honorary Consultant in Public Health with Public Health Scotland. She was previously Consultant in Public Health in NHS Lothian, where her remit focused on health inequalities and health improvement. Her interests include health inequalities, social determinants of health, links between place and health, and the use of health impact assessment to achieve health in all policies. She has led the Scottish Health and Inequalities Impact Assessment Network since it was established in 2001 and her publications include journal articles and guidance on the use of Health Impact Asssessment in Scotland.
