Dr Tracey Williamson

Tracey Williamson is a Reader in public involvement, engagement and experience at the University of Salford. Previously she worked in the NHS as a Nurse Consultant Older People and has a clinical background in rehabilitation and general medicine. Tracey is regional lead in patient and public involvement for the National Institute for Health Research - Research Design Service NW. Tracey champions public involvement in research which is involvement in designing or undertaking research as opposed to being researched as a research subject/participant. Research expertise concerns evaluation and participatory approaches. Her research interests are around assistive technology co-design, experience of dementia and impact of public involvement.
