Mr Amit Prasad

Mr Prasad is a health economist working with the World Health Organization (WHO) based in Kobe, Japan. He leads the team on Urban Health and has coordinated the development of the Urban Health Equity Assessment and Response Tool (Urban HEART), which is increasingly being for planning and monitoring action on health in cities. Mr Prasad also works closely with international experts and government officials from several countries with respect to capacity building and developing global standards on urban health metrics. Previously, he has worked for WHO in Geneva and at the Harvard School of Public Health.
